I refer to the State Infrastructure Strategy Progress Report released in December 2023, pages 25-31 titled "Planning and coordination", specifically "Strategy recommendation and government action/s", and I ask: (a) With reference to recommendation 26 "Embed rigorous infrastructure appraisal in the planning decision-making framework" Action 44 "Implement the Perth and Peel @3.5 million land-use planning and infrastructure frameworks": (i) Have any deliverables for this action been identified: (A) If not, why not; (ii) When will these specific deliverables be identified; and (iii) Are steps currently being taken to assist in the identification of specific deliverables: (A) If yes, please identify each action being taken to assist with the identification of specific deliverables? (B) Please identify each individual stakeholder including government agencies, industry groups and other key stakeholders that are being engaged with to assist in identifying specific deliverables?

(a) (i – iii) As stated in the WA Government’s response to the State Infrastructure Strategy (tabled in parliament in 2022), existing WA Government actions align with recommendation 26 of the State Infrastructure Strategy. As such, no specific deliverables are applicable.
