Details of the former CALM contracts with ASG (Asia Pacific) and Oracle are as follows: (1) (i) ASG (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd - Provision of Network Management Solution RFT 14106, awarded 28 June 2006. Completion date, including extensions, is 27 June 2009. The original tender price including extensions and GST was $252,036. (ii) ASG (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd - Provision of Server, Network and Security Management Services and Database Management Services RFT 5005, awarded 15 January 2006. Completion date, including extensions, is 14 January 2010. The original tender price including extensions and GST was $2,744,824. (iii) Oracle - CALM purchased Oracle financial systems licences in 1992 for the provision and maintenance of Oracle financials. Effective from May 2006, the licences were subsumed within the whole of government contract between the Office of Shared Services and Oracle. Under this arrangement, DEC no longer pays annual maintenance fees to Oracle for the maintenance of the Department's Oracle financial system. DEC continues to make maintenance payments to Oracle for use of Oracle database products that support a range of business applications in areas other than corporate services. (2) For each of the former CALM contracts the amounts paid to date are: (i) $252,036 (inclusive of GST); (ii) $697,131.36 (inclusive of GST); and (iii) See answer for (1)(iii) above.
