Department of State Development advises:
(1) [see tabled paper no]
(2) Some State Agreements that contain Local Content Reporting requirements have been operational for over 50 years. Local content clauses have evolved over time and vary between State Agreements. In 2005, the reporting period and format were standardised to require companies to report quarterly during initial construction phase and/or expansion phase and annually during normal operational phase.
In the context of the above, and given the length of time some State Agreements have been operational, that reporting requirements have varied over time, that a manual search of files (and in many cases archived files) would be required, and the limited time available for the preparation of this response, the Department of State Development has prepared a detailed list of Local Content Reporting covering the past 3 year period which is provided at tabled paper no to part (1).
