NATION
BUILDING 2 PROGRAM
41. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I take this opportunity to congratulate the Leader of the
House on assuming that position.
(1) Was the
state government required to make a submission in August 2012 to the
commonwealth government of projects it wished to have considered by
Infrastructure Australia for inclusion in the Nation Building 2 Program?
(2) If yes to (1), did WA make a submission?
(3) Will the Premier table a copy or an overview of this
submission?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) Is the Premier aware that other states have made details
of their submissions public?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) Only
submissions for Nation Building 2 Program funding over $100 million were
required to be submitted to Infrastructure Australia.
(2) Yes.
(3) No.
(4) The proposals
contained in the submission have since been updated. Releasing preliminary or
out-of-date information would be of little value.
(5) The Premier
is aware that some but not all jurisdictions have released some information on
their submissions.
