I refer to the Environmental Protection Authority's report on the proposed 2024-33 Forest Management Plan, which recommended a caps on the numbers of hectares burnt under Western Australia's prescribed burning program, and I ask: (a) will the Minister rule out ever agreeing to a cap on the State's prescribed burning program; and (b) if no to (a), how would the Department decide which areas would be treated, and which would be left unsafe, in the event that caps were reached?
