The Minister Replied:
(a) As of 1 August 2000 there are 20 residents of Whitby Falls Hostel.

(c) Eight of the current residents have expressed to staff a desire to move out of Whitby Falls.
Another resident has expressed to a Homeswest Officer a desire to move out of Whitby Falls. Another 6 residents have expressed a desire to move out of the existing hostel into home like facilities.
Five of the above residents are currently placed on leave at Rosedale Lodge as part of their request for transitional training to enhance their independent living skills.
