The average
length of time taken to resolve allegations that were opened in the 2011–12
financial year, which have been closed prior to 30 June 2013, by most common
category, was: physical assault, 146 days; inappropriate behaviour, 118 days;
fraud–theft, 217 days; verbal abuse, 145 days; and other categories,
159 days.
The average
length of time taken to resolve allegations that were opened in the 2012–13
financial year, which have been closed prior to 30 June 2013, by most common
category, was: physical assault, 90 days; inappropriate behaviour, 77 days;
fraud–theft, 129 days; verbal abuse, nil completed; and other
categories, 92 days.
The average
length of time taken to resolve allegations opened in 2011–12 is longer
than for those made in 2012–13 as there has been more time in which to
resolve the allegations.
