I refer to the exclusive discount airfares for travel to Geraldton for the Shore Leave Festival, and I ask,: (a) How many of these discounted one-way airfares were sold; (b) What was the total cost to the State Government of providing these discounted fares; (c) Was any proportion of this cost funded by Royalties for Regions and if so, please detail; (d) Did any Ministers, Members or Parliament, or Ministerial Staff purchase these discounted tickets, and if so, please provide detail; and (e) Were these discounted airfares accounted for in the 2024-25 State Budget, and if not, why not?

(a) Nexus sold 17 airfares, ten as a return booking and seven as a one-way booking.
(b) $1,785.
(c) No.
(d) As per the Agreement between Tourism Western Australia and the partner airline Nexus, and in accordance with privacy legislation, the agency does not have access to passengers’ personal information.
