The Commonwealth replaced the Aged Care Assessment Program, commenced in 1984 was replaced by the Commonwealth with the Single Assessment System on 6 December 2024.
Older Western Australians will continue to have access to aged care assessments to determine their eligibility for Commonwealth aged care services.
