(a) The premise of the question is incorrect. At no stage has the Premier announced the establishment of a Western Australian embassy in Canberra.
The Western Australian Government’s new Canberra Hub – located on Brisbane Avenue in Canberra – opened on 27 March 2024.
The Hub is staffed by one full-time receptionist, employed by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, responsible for managing the Hub and its use.
