CYCLONE SEROJA —
AFTER-ACTION REVIEW
22. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Emergency Services:
I
refer to Legislative Council question without notice 1088 asked in this place
on 2 December 2021 on the need for an independent review into tropical
cyclone Seroja.
(1) Given that it has now been 10 months since cyclone
Seroja, will the state government commit to undertaking an independent
review of this significant natural disaster?
(2) Has the Department of Fire and Emergency Services
after-action review for cyclone Seroja been completed and received by
government?
(3) If yes to (2), will the
minister please table the after-action review?
(4) If no to (2),
what is the expected completion date of the after-action review, and will the
minister commit to making it publicly available?
