(1) Is the Minister aware that the existing Education Support Unit (ESU) facilities at Mt Barker Primary School are totally inadequate for students with special needs who attend the school?
(2) Is the Minister also aware that the number of students, requiring the special services that the unit provides, has risen from 17 at the beginning of the year to 26 now, with further enrolments likely in the near future?
(3) Given that the Mt Barker Primary School ESU urgently needs an extra classroom and dedicated therapy space, will the Minister commit to a capital works program in the next budget to provide these facilities at the school?
(4) If not, why not?
