As a supplementary question, I refer to the minister’s response to the last part of the answer. Does he believe that, with the current cost of fuel, the extra 2c per kilometre that has been provided for patients who make more than four trips a year keeps pace with their travel costs as a percentage of those costs? Mr J.A. McGINTY

The budget for this year was set. This was an extraordinary allocation to meet escalating fuel prices. It was designed to show - I think it arose from a question from the member in this house - that I asked the department to review - Mr D.F. Barron-Sullivan : You’re getting $400 million more from oil royalties. The SPEAKER : Order, member for Leschenault! Mr J.A. McGINTY : The member for Wagin wants to hear the answer to his question. Obviously the member for Leschenault does not. Mr D.F. Barron-Sullivan interjected. Mr J.A. McGINTY : I am sorry; that is the answer to my question. The SPEAKER : I call the member for Leschenault to order. I indicate to him that what has just happened was a consequence of persistent and unwelcome interjections.
