STATE FLEET
737. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the
Minister for Finance:
I ask the minister to please clarify the status of the State
Fleet greenhouse emissions program.
(1) Is the
government still required to provide information about the State Fleet
greenhouse gas emissions?
(2) If yes to
(1), will the minister please provide the average State Fleet vehicle CO 2 emission rating in grams per kilometre for each
vehicle category at the end of each year from 2007 onwards?
(3) If no to
(1), does the government conduct any other alternative greenhouse emissions
measurements of State Fleet?
(4) What is
the total annual cost for the past two financial years for the purchase of
carbon credits for State Fleet?

question.
(1) Yes. State
Fleet provides information in accordance with the requirements of division 2,
section 26AA(5) of the State Supply Commission Amendment Act 2008.
(2) I table the attached information.

(4) State Fleet is preparing tender documents that
will cover the purchasing of carbon offsets from the 2016–17 financial year onwards.
