In relation to the privatisation of Homeswest housing maintenance:
(a) of the 700 contractors that provided housing maintenance services to the Department of Housing prior to the privatisation of these services in July 2010, how many are still currently engaged by each of the following three head contractors:
(i) Transfield;
(ii) Lake Maintenance; and
(iii) Programmed Facility Management;
(b) how many businesses, contractors, subcontractors or sub-subcontractors are currently engaged by each of the three following head contractors:
(i) Transfield;
(ii) Lake Maintenance; and
(iii) Programmed Facility Management;
(c) have any of the businesses, contractors, subcontractors or sub-subcontractors contracted by any of the three following head contractors subsequently dropped out of that contract (if the answer is yes for any of the following, please list the number):
(i) Transfield;
(ii) Lake Maintenance; and
(iii) Programmed Facility Management; and
(d) have any of the businesses, contractors, subcontractors or sub-subcontractors that were contracted by any of the three following head contractors subsequently declared insolvency or bankruptcy:

The Department of Housing advises:
(a)-(d) The department did not privatise maintenance services in 2010 - it moved to a head contractor model. Any arrangement between the head contractor and any third party (other businesses, contractors and subcontractors) is a matter for the head contractor.
