Mr M. McGOWAN : Once again, the government has a reputation
for keeping state secrets. Considering this is a contract for $360 million and
it was entered into just before the caretaker period, does the minister not
think the public has a right to see it?

I will seek advice on that. I do not know. I have not read the contract
in a lot of detail. There is no way, as Minister for Transport, that I will
release a contract without seeking advice on that issue, and I have not got
advice on that. The contract has not even been signed, member!
