I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Department of Housing and Works advises that RFT 29349/06 for the relocation of a transportable preprimary school building from Leeming Primary School to Coolbinia Primary School was awarded to Building Relocation Services (WA) Pty Ltd on 6 November. Tenders for this work were called from a transportable building relocation panel of prequalified contractors. Three of the four active members submitted prices ranging from $67 414.60 to $84 203. The contract was awarded to the lowest tenderer. The work required to be carried out under the contract included disconnecting services at pick-up site, Leeming; removing a 3.6-metre-wide veranda; separating building into halves, each 12 metres by 3.6 metres; disassembling shed sized 3.6 metres by 3.6 metres; loading building and transporting it to set-down site, Coolbinia; making good pick-up site; site preparation at set-down site, including tree removal and fence realignment; setting down building and reconnecting halves; rebuilding veranda; reassembling shed; reconnecting services of power, water, sewerage, telephone, public address, security system and data cabling; and laying new concrete pathways and slabs of approximately 80 square metres.
