(a) did the Gascoyne Development Commission receive an application for funding from the Far Western Speedway event to be held in Denham on 10 July 2010; and
(i) if yes, how much was the application for; and
(b) was the entire amount requested provided; and
(i) if not, how much was provided and why?

(a) Yes, the Gascoyne Development Commission (GDC) has received two applications for funding. The first application was received in February 2010 to the Small Grant Scheme while the second application was received on 10 May 2010 for GDC Strategic funds.
(i) $10,000 was requested through the Small Grant Scheme.
$16,650 was requested through Strategic Funds Gascoyne Regional Grant Scheme.
(b) Yes, the entire amount requested from the Small Grant Scheme of $10,000 was approved on 10 February 2010.
The application for $16,650 through Strategic Funding is pending and will be assessed by the GDC Board at their June 2010 Board meeting.
