ROYAL
PERTH HOSPITAL — TREASURER'S COMMENTS
447. Mr R.H. COOK to the
Treasurer:
I have a supplementary question. The Treasurer is prepared to
spend $230 million on an underground bus station. Why is he not prepared to
keep his election promises—in two elections—to spend $200 million
on Royal Perth Hospital?

AnswerView source ↗

We committed in two elections to save it from members
opposite. That is what we did. Has the opposition done that? The member for
Kwinana has been the shadow health spokesman for quite a few years. Is Royal
Perth Hospital working? Is Royal Perth Hospital operating? Yes, it is working
and it is operating and we allocated an extra $19 million for it. What is the memberXXX ###XXXs problem?
