David Pye—Bail costs
1253. Hon Nick Goiran to
the minister representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to the
minister's answer on 13 November 2025 to my question without notice 1040, in
which the minister advised that the house would not be provided with the cost
of supervising, monitoring and transporting David Pye while on bail for the
duration of his trial.
(1) Does the minister recall informing the house
that he would write to both houses and to the Auditor General under section 82
of the Financial Management Act 2006 ?
(2) Is the minister aware that this is to be done
within 14 days?
(3) Has this been done?
(4) If yes to (3), when?
(5) If no to (3), will the minister now do so
forthwith?
