Public Sector Commission advises for the period of
23 September 2008 - 16 March 2011:
(1-4) There have been various reasons why SES Officers have left the State Government since 23 September 2008. This may include resignation, retirement, expiry of their contract, regression, termination, and compensation. Information on the specific reasons why SES Officers may or may not leave the State Government is stored in individual agencies rather than a central source that captures a total number.
Of the numerous reasons for cessation of SES Officers, compensation payments pursuant to section 59 of the
Public Sector Management Act
1994 are determined centrally by the Public Sector Commission. Since 23 September 2008, there have been 27 compensation payments approved in accordance with section 59 of the
Public Sector Management Act
1994. This includes offers accepted under the 2009 and 2010 Targeted Employment Separation Offers. The details are provided [see tabled paper no].
No officers listed in the table were required to sign a secrecy provision.
