I refer to question without notice 407
asked in the other place on Tuesday, 21 June 2016 in relation to CPD Group Pty Ltd.
(1) Have the
moneys owed to subcontractors as a result of CPD Group Pty Ltd going into
liquidation been calculated?
(2) If yes to (1), can the minister
provide the information broken down by amounts owed?
(3) If no to (1), when does the
minister expect this process to be completed?
(4) For what purpose is the minister
collecting the data?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) No. The
Department of Finance is not privy to the subcontracting arrangements on its
construction projects. The administrator and liquidator are responsible for
compiling the details of all creditors to the company and the debts owing.
(2)–(4) Not applicable.
