(1) How many expressions of interest
for the site are under active consideration?
(2) What is the name of each
company, group or individual to have lodged an expression of interest?

current status of the assessment of those expressions of interest, and when
will a decision be made?

assessing the expressions of interest?
(5) When was the last valuation of

(2) They are
Mirvac (WA) Pty Ltd, Australian Capital Equity Pty Ltd, Australand, Lend Lease
Development Pty Ltd, and Power House City.
(3) The ongoing
assessment is contingent on a plan for the relocation of the East Perth power
station switchyard, given the significant costs involved with this process.
Western Power is working with the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority to
accelerate the relocation of the switchyard.
(4) The
evaluation panel comprises the chair, Kieran Kinsella, chief executive officer
of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority; and members Geoff Warn, Government
Architect; Graeme Gammie, executive director of the State Heritage Office; and
Sean Henriques, executive director of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.
The external advisers are CBRE, financial advisory; Deloitte, accounting and
tax advisory; Herbert Smith Freehills, legal and compliance advisory; and
PricewaterhouseCoopers, probity auditor.
(5) The last
Landgate valuation based on unimproved land value taken for the calculation of
rates as at 1 August 2015 is $25.7 million.
