In relation to train carriages to be allocated to the Midland to Perth line, I ask:
(a) how many of the A-series two-car train carriage sets, formerly used on the northern suburbs train line, are to be allocated to the Midland to Perth line;
(b) when will each of the A-series two-car train carriage sets be tested on the Midland to Perth line;
(c) when will each of the A-series two-car carriage sets become operational on the Midland to Perth line;
(d) how many passengers do the A-series train carriages seat;
(e) how many passengers, including those both seated and standing, is an A-series train carriage authorized to carry; and
(f) will the new A-series train carriage sets, due to become operational on the Midland to Perth line, overcome existing problems with overcrowding?
