Peel Development Commission
(1) Peel Development Commission has no specific policies and procedures relating to literacy or dyslexia. The Commission has a Disability Services Plan and is completing a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.
(2) - (4) Not applicable.
Department of the Environment and Conservation & Swan River Trust
(1)-(2) The Department of Environment and Conservation has prepared and is implementing a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. The Plan includes strategies to provide facilities, information and services suitable for use by all members of the community, including older persons and people with disabilities, and to provide opportunities for all people to make complaints and participated in public participation processes.
Wherever practical, the department makes information available in alternative formats.
(3) Funding to assist people with dyslexia is not separately identified and cannot be quantified. Funding is included in budgets for the design and implementation of services and facilities to provide for the widest practical range of human diversity, including assistance for people with dyslexia.
(4) The department's Disability Access and Inclusion committee chaired by the Director Corporate Services is responsible for policies, programs and research relating to access to the department's services and facilities by people with disabilities, including people with dyslexia.
The department's Equity and Diversity Management Committee, chaired by the Director Strategic Development and Corporate Affairs is responsible for policies, programs and research relating to employment of people with disabilities, including people with dyslexia.
Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority
(1) Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority has no specific policies and procedures relating to literacy or dyslexia. However BGPA has a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.

Zoological Parks Authority
(1) Perth Zoo has implemented a 5-year disability inclusion plan. Perth Zoo's approach to directional and safety signage is to ensure that it is clear and understandable to the maximum number of visitors, irrespective of nationality, age or comprehension of the English language.
