In 2012/13 St John Ambulance WA Ltd (SJA) recorded a total of 3,225 volunteers and in 2013/14 recorded a total of 3,050 volunteers.
The specific attrition rates for these periods are an estimate only as St. John Ambulance launched a new volunteer information system in order to better support volunteer management. It is estimated that the attrition rate is in the order of 50%.
