I refer to the answer on 28
November 2023 to my question without notice 1512.
(1) Has the child recorded in the
placement type ''missing'' been found?
(2) For how many days was the child
recorded as missing?
(3) How many children who are in
the care of the CEO have their whereabouts currently recorded as —
(a) unaccounted for—in
contact;
(b) unaccounted for—not in
contact; or
(c) missing?
(4) For the
calendar year 2023, how many children who were in the care of the CEO had their
whereabouts recorded as missing and consequently were reported by the
department to the Western Australia Police Force as a missing person?

advises as at 27 February 2024 —
(1) Yes.
(2) Nine days.
(3) (a) Two children;
(b) Two children; and
(c) Nil.
(4) Missing
persons reports to WA police relating to children in the care of the CEO are
held on individual case files; this data is not held centrally.
