Patient transfer services—Fee structure
1181. Hon Julie Freeman to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to patient
transfer payments made to volunteer ambulance sub-centres for the provision of patient
transfer services.
(1) What is the current fee structure for patient
transfers undertaken by volunteer ambulance sub-centres in both directions and
how is this fee determined?
(2) What was the total amount—across all
volunteer ambulance sub-centres collectively—paid in patient transfer
fees in each of the past three financial years?
(3) When were patient transfer fees for volunteer
ambulance sub-centres last reviewed and when were they last increased?
