State Planning Policy 2.4 - Basic Raw Materials
(SPP) (2000), does not use the definitions 'the scarp region' or 'the Perth Hills region' to define areas. The SPP covers a specific area defined by the Cities and Shires of Joondalup, Wanneroo, Mundaring, Gosnells, Rockingham, Swan, Kalamunda, Armadale, Kwinana, Serpentine Jarrahdale, Gingin, Mandurah, Chittering, Northam, Murray and Toodyay.
(2) Given the lack of definition it is not possible to provide a percentage figure for 'the scarp region' or 'the Perth hills region' applicable to Priority Resource Locations.
(3) Given the lack of definition it is not possible to provide a percentage figure for 'the scarp region' or 'the Perth hills region' applicable to Key Extraction Areas.
(4) A copy of the supporting mapping for the SPP, which shows the local government areas and Resource Protection Areas is available on the Department of Planning's website. The more detailed mapping for
