I refer to the Automatic Transfer Unit program with Telstra that saw the state government contribute $1.9million in funding for generators at 80 Mobile phone towers in 2025, and I ask: (a) Are all sites now operational; and (b) Will there be further funding for this initiative? If not, why not?

(a)   78 Automatic Transfer Units (ATU) have been installed and are fully operational.
(b)   As part of its strategic priority to enhance telecommunications network resilience, the Australian Government has committed $2 million to the WA Telstra ATU Pilot Deployment Program, to fund up to 40 additional ATUs at locations to be determined, following the initial pilot phase.
