For each Department and Agency under the Treasurer’s control: (a) how many Director General and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) positions are under the control of the Treasurer, and for what departments and agencies; (b) of those positions, please name the Director General or CEO, the date their contract commenced, the date it is set to expire, and salary classification; (c) of those Director General and CEO positions, how many are occupied in an acting position, and of which departments and agencies; and (d) what is the length of time each position has had an occupant in an acting position?

• Managing Director, Insurance Commission of Western Australia; and
• Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury.
(b) Mr Rodney Whithear is the Managing Director of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. His contract commenced on 12 June 2012 and expires on 11 June 2017. The salary rate for Mr Whithear is determined by the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal at a CEO Band 2 classification. His current salary is $308, 425 per annum.
The Under Treasurer position is currently vacant.
(c) One. The Under Treasurer position is occupied in an acting capacity by Mr Michael Barnes. His current acting salary is $429,409 per annum.
(d) The Under Treasurer position has been filled in an acting capacity, by Mr Barnes, since 16 February 2014.
