DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION —
PLANNING
864. Hon
DONNA FARAGHER to the Minister for Education and Training:
I
refer to the answer given to question without notice 623 asked on 12 June 2019
regarding Woodbridge Primary School.
(1) Has the work
to amend the local intake areas been completed; and, if not, why not?
(2) If yes, will
the minister table a map that details the new boundaries?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Discussions
are continuing with the principals of the affected schools to develop local
intake areas that all parties agree with. Two alternative options to amend the
local intake areas have been presented to the principals and, based on their
feedback, further development is being undertaken on the preferred option. This is taking longer than first anticipated. The
local intake areas will be in place for the 2020 school year.
(2) Not
applicable.
