174. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I
refer to the answer to my question without notice 1439 following the revelation
in the hearing before the Standing Committee on Estimates and Financial
Operations on 8 November 2023 that the managing director of Main Roads Western Australia
decided on 4 August 2023 to disable the devices that had been collecting data
from road users in breach of the Surveillance Devices Regulations 1999.
(1) Did the minister or any other
person keep notes during the briefing on 21 August 2023?
(2) If yes, will the minister table
those notes?
