Will the Premier table all correspondence with representatives of the United States Government or US Navy pertaining to the sea swap trial to and from - (a) members of the Government; (b) any ministerial office; and (c) any departmental office? Hon KIM CHANCE

I thank Hon Giz Watson for providing some notice of the question. However, in order to ensure an accurate answer, it is not possible to provide the requested information in such a short time frame and I request that the member place the question on notice. When I received the request from the Premier’s office that would enable it to compile an answer - I imagine similar letters went to all ministers - I then had to contact each of my agencies for a response, including the Wheatbelt Development Commission, even though it is unlikely to have been negotiating with the US Government - one never knows these things. The process takes a while but I imagine that the member will not have to wait long. I imagine the answer will be available at the next sitting.
