Albany Health Campus—Car park extension
5. Hon Sophia Moermond to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health
Infrastructure :
I refer to the
Albany Health Campus car park extension, which was a 2021 election campaign
promise that was given funding in the 2023–24 WA state budget. After
four years of promises, work on the car park extension was announced to start
this past February, much to the relief of campus staff and patients.
(1) Can the minister confirm that work on the car park
extension has begun?
(2) What is the current estimated completion date
of the extension?
(3) Can the minister explain why it took so long
for the project to get underway?
