I have a supplementary question. I am sorry for the pause; I was waiting because part of my question involved nursing positions. I ask the minister to respond at some future stage to cover vacant nursing positions. By way of supplementary question, in the minister’s view will the closure of Royal Perth Hospital lead to a significant increase in unfilled positions? Mr J.A. McGINTY

We do not propose to close Royal Perth Hospital. Dr K.D. Hames : As a tertiary hospital. Mr J.A. McGINTY : Its tertiary facilities will be shifted to another site, either Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital or the Fiona Stanley hospital. That is some six years away. It is too hard to project what might happen in those circumstances.
