(1) Yes [see tabled paper no]. There are 529 in total, currently entered in the State Register of Heritage Places that are owned wholly or in part by the State of Western Australia or in which the State has an interest as the responsible authority for a portion of a place.
(2) Many of the places included in the list are well-used, actively maintained and conserved. Any other place amongst this list that is underutilised or idle could be considered under the framework of a Heritage Revolving Fund where it is demonstrated that it has the potential to be conserved and adaptively re-used for vibrant community engagement purposes.
