(1) Since 2002 the FPC has established the following areas (in hectares) of
Corymbia maculata
with the objective of sawlog production:
2002 - 49
2003 - 9
2004 - 50
2005 - 7
2006 - 150
2007 - 177
2008 - 226
2009 - 43
2010 - 0
2011 - 0
(2) No new plantings of
Corymbia maculata
are planned to be undertaken by the FPC in the next five years.
(3) Since 2002 the FPC has established the following areas (in hectares) of Australian hardwood species with the objective of sawlog production:
2002 - 458
2003 - 257
2004 - 548
2005 - 143
2006 - 919
2007 - 1123
2008 - 595
2009 - 1725
2010 - 0
2011 - 0
Species included in this program:
Eucalyptus saligna, E. cladocalyx, E. botryoides, E. tricarpa, E. grandis, E. muelleriana
and
Corymbia maculata.
(4) No new plantings of Australian hardwood species with the objective of sawlog production are planned to be undertaken by the FPC in the next five years.
