In relation to the Minister's answer to Question on Notice No. 7428 where he stated that no funding had been cut for attendance at overseas festivals and events, I ask:
(a) can the Minister confirm that the Department of Culture and the Arts funded West Australian Music Industry Association (WAM) was previously funded to attend important music festivals overseas which developed export markets for Western Australian bands and musicians;
(b) which specific grants were provided to WAM, and under which programmes, to attend overseas events;
(c) when did the Government cut this funding; and
(d) did the Minister mislead the Assembly in his answer to Question on Notice No. 7428?
