I refer to the media release dated 8 September 2017 titled Innovative transformation of ticketing system for Metronet, and I ask: (a) has a business case for the new ticketing system been prepared; (b) if yes to (a), will the Minister table the business case and if not, why not; (c) if no to (a) when will the business case be completed; and (d) when will the project go to tender?

(d) The SmartRider system is being upgraded and not replaced. Changes to SmartRider are managed under an existing contract with Parkeon Transit Ltd. The Public Transport Authority is contractually obliged to make any changes to the SmartRider system under that contract.
