The Police Service advise with respect to (1) to (5):
(1) 25 July 2003.
(2) Yes, in the foyer between the external doors and the sliding doors leading to the reception area.
(3) It was installed as part of a front counter upgrade in 2001/2002. To provide an exact time and date will require a manual search of records and I am not prepared to commit resources in this regard.
(4) Buzzer was mounted in the foyer between the external doors and the sliding doors leading to the reception area. It was mounted on the wall to the left hand side of the internal sliding doors.

(6 – 10) The Minister visited Midland Police Station on the 24th and 25th of July 2003 and inspected the buzzer each time. Every time the Minister visits Midland Police Station she is extended full courtesies by the officers present. There has not been any instance of non-response.
