(a) The total number of unique visitors to
www.westernaustralia.com
from 1 May to 31 August 2007 was 400,765.
The total number of unique visitors from May to August (400,765) is different to total number of monthly unique visitors (437,993) given on Question on Notice No.2650. The total number of unique visitors is an unduplicated measure, that is, the same person visiting the website multiple times within the period is only counted once. The total monthly unique visitors is an accumulation of the individual monthly unique visitors, that is, the same person visiting the site multiple times in different months is also counted. Therefore there were a total of 37,228 visitors who came to the website more than once during the period May to August 2007.
