INQUIRY
1250. Hon SIMON O'BRIEN to the Leader of the House representing the
Minister for Local Government:
Further to my questions in June,
August and September, I again refer to the Department of Local Government,
Sport and Cultural Industries–authorised inquiry into the City of
Melville and ask with admirable optimism but little confidence —
(1) Has the report of the inquiry
been completed; and, if so, when?
(2) Has the
Minister for Local Government or his office received the report or a draft of
the report; and, if so, when?
(3) Has the
government sought legal advice from the Solicitor-General on the draft report;
and, if so, when?
