Insurance Commission of Western Australia

(a) Media Monitoring services are provided to the Insurance Commission of WA by Media Monitors Pty Ltd
(b) Because the media monitoring services provided have variable costs (dependent upon number of media cliups that are provided and if any transcripts are specifically ordered), the total cost of the contract is difficult to ascertain. On average, the cost per month spent on the media monitoring is $1200.
(c) Since 23 September 2008, $7191.85 has been paid for media monitoring services provided by Media Monitors Pty Ltd. This figure includes daily media monitoring in addition to transcripts that are requested by Insurance Commission employees.
(d) Since 2006, there has been a 'client service order' agreement between Media Monitors Pty Ltd and the Insurance Commission. This agreement is essentially a 'rolling contract' that continues to run until parties agree that the services being provided shall come to an end.
(e) Media Monitors Pty Ltd has been providing services since April 2002, but the current agreement (for a digital service) has been in operation since 22 August 2006.
