(2) With reference to Question on Notice No. 767, can the Minister please advise -
(a) what is the site size and location;
(b) what selection criteria did the Department of Education and Training use to determine the Cape Naturaliste College site;
(c) have tenders been called for the College’s construction;
(d) if yes to (c), what site access date was given to the tenderers; and
(e) will the developer provide the following services -
(i) water;
(ii) electricity;
(iii) gas; and
(iv) sewerage?
(3) Are these costs included in the $4.6 million purchase price of the land?
(4) If no to (3) -
(a) are the costs included in the current budget allocation; and
(b) what amount has been budgeted for each of the above services?
(5) Does the current budget figure include the $4.6 million land acquisition?

(b) The criteria included proximity to existing roads and services; distance from the future bypass road; abutting Public Open Space; and central to catchment area. (c) Yes. (d) Vendor has granted unfettered access to the site for construction, pending issue of Certificate of Title. (e) Yes. The developer has undertaken to provide these services up to the school site boundary. There has been confirmation by developer that they will provide tanking service to site, if the sewer is not operational. (3) No (4a) Yes, but only those associatesd with provision within the school site. (b) Contingencies have been allowed for in the pre-tender estimate over and above the costs normally budgeted for service runs and connections within the school site boundary.
