COMMUNITY VISITORS
1150. Hon
DONNA FARAGHER to the Minister for Education and Training:
I refer to the answer given to
question without notice 601 provided on 17 June regarding the review of the ''Criminal
History Screening for Department of Education Science Policy'' and the ''Community
Use of School Facilities and Resources in
Public Schools'' policy, which was expected to be completed by the
beginning of term 4.
(1) Has the
review of both policies been completed; and, if yes, what is the outcome of the
review?
(2) If yes to
(1), will the minister table a copy of the updated policies?
(3) If no to (1),
why not and when is the review expected to be completed?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The
review of the ''Criminal History Screening for Department of Education
Sites Policy'' has been completed.
The policy is publicly available on the Department of Education's
policies website. I table a copy of the policy for the member's
information. The ''Community Use of School Facilities and Resources in
Public Schools'' review is in its final stages of completion.
