(1) I refer to part (6) of the answer to question on notice No. 2278 and ask how many members of the 280 families accessing services from Autism Early Childhood Intervention Service providers are children with autism?
(2) Of the children in (a), how many fall into each of the following age groups -
(a) 0 to 1 year;
(b) 1 to 2 years;
(c) 2 to 3 years;
(d) 3 to 4 years;
(e) 4 to 5 years;

(2) Since January 2004, 253 children with autism have been accessing autism early childhood intervention services. There are currently 6 vacancies yet to be filled. The families of 10 children have chosen to wait to receive services from their preferred provider.
