(2) There is no specific category of leave for stress related ill health and the Department has no way of differentiating reasons for sick leave. Staff suffering stress related conditions may either take sick leave or lodge a claim for workers' compensation for a stress related illness. 81 teachers lodged workers' compensation claims for stress in 2006.
