The LiberalQQQ ### QQQNational government supports amendments to legislation
to provide penalties for breaches of the prohibited terms in the Construction
Contracts Act 2006. Extensive work will be undertaken to refine amendments to
create civil penalties to ensure that they do not inadvertently capture
innocent parties to a prohibited term. The government will also legislate to
create penalties for intimidating, coercing or threatening a person or business
against accessing their rights under the Construction Contracts Act 2006.
