CORRUPTION AND CRIME COMMISSION - MINISTER FOR POLICE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES
I have a supplementary question. Does the Premier accept that the commissioner was able to say that the Corruption and Crime Commission made no adverse findings about the Minister for Police and Emergency Services prior to 22 February 2006 because it never bothered to interview or question him on anything? Mr A.J. CARPENTER

I do not want to get involved in retrospective commentary on the entire proceedings and findings of the CCC. That would be ridiculous. I have made the point that the government will not interfere politically with the operations of the commission.
